Onvest AG was founded in 1995 as a corporation limited by shares (Aktiengesellschaft) and is owned by Reto Walker. Since 2017, Onvest AG has operated as a regulated asset manager. From 1 January 2024, Onvest AG operates exclusively for professional and institutional clients pursuant to Art. 4 FinSA.
Onvest AG is subject to dual supervision: OSFINcontrol AG as supervisory organisation and the FINMA (Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority).
Until 31 December 2023, Onvest AG was affiliated with Terraxis SA (Rue de la Tour-de-l'Ile 1, 1204 Geneva), an independent ombudsman office recognised by the Federal Department of Finance. From 1 January 2024, in line with prevailing legal interpretation, Onvest AG - operating exclusively for professional and institutional clients under Art. 4 FinSA - is not affiliated with any ombudsman office.
Onvest AG provides asset management services exclusively to professional and institutional clients. Services are implemented through investment strategies developed or licensed by Onvest AG. The client (issuer of the structured product) delegates investment decisions to Onvest AG via a limited power of attorney, with execution in accordance with the selected strategy.
Pursuant to Art. 4 FinSA, Onvest AG exclusively accepts clients who qualify as professional or institutional clients. The Financial Services Act provides for three segments: private clients (Art. 4 para. 2), professional clients (Art. 4 para. 3), and institutional clients (Art. 4 para. 4).
A fee is charged calculated on managed asset values and/or on a performance basis. For detailed fee information, clients should consult the respective term sheet.
